Our story
Based in North West England, we are a manufacturer of high-quality Horsewear and Stable Apparel. We have two brands: Yaris Racing, which is specifically aimed at the Horse Racing market and Yaris Equestrian, which is specifically aimed at the equestrian sports – Showjumping, Eventing and Dressage. Everything is custom-made from start to finish and we take great pride in delivering a first-class product, made to your exact requirements, worn at racecourses and arena’s around the world.
Yaris Equestrian was formed in early 2013 by Simon Buckley and Ray Todhunter. Together they combined many years of experience as a rider and an equestrian manufacturer.
A successful Showjumper, Simon has represented Great Britain in European Pony Championships and since won many national titles including the Horse & Hound Foxhunter.
Whilst Simon in no longer involved in the running of Yaris Equestrian we are still based within Hill Farm Stud where Simon supports with product development and testing.
Ray has been involved in equestrian manufacturing for the last 30 years running a successful manufacturing business in Kendal, known as Kingshead, which produced Horsewear primarily for the Horse Racing market.
Ray is joined by his son, James, and together they form a strategy to become the No.1 Manufacturer of Custom Horsewear and Stable Apparel.
With two distinct brands, refreshed website and marketing support, Yaris is going from strength to strength and developing new relationships across the UK and Europe.
